The Awesome Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society

Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society is a Michigan-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Michigan’s military heritage. The Society was founded in 2006 by a group of Michigan veterans and military historians.

It was chartered in 1989 to preserve the history of military technology. This organization has grown from a small gathering at Rumsey Farm to the urging of several member families interested in our state’s proud heritage, which it now provides access to through its museum near downtown Detroit! The goal of the Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society is to educate people on our state’s military history and provide a venue for discussing it.
